The Lodge at Circle J is a welcoming country setting with a lodge décor, big windows to see the rolling hills of northwest Missouri and a comfortable family atmosphere. 80 acres to roam & enjoy nature. Great horned owls speak to you each night & whitetail deer greet you in the early hours of the morning.
We are a working goat farm with chickens running about.
THE SPACE
You will love staying at The Lodge at Circle J ~ you walk in strangers & leave as family. You will enjoy beautiful scenery, the sounds of nature & a walk to the pond to relax
GUEST ACCESS
You will have a private room & bath. You can enjoy our comfy living room with big screen TV and large panoramic windows to enjoy the view.
You will have limited access to the kitchen as I will prepare your breakfast there. Other meals will be available for an additional charge. There is an frig on the front porch for your beverages.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
This is our home and we are on the property at all times. We have 2 house dogs. A Jack Russell & Golden Retriever. Outdoor cats. Goats, Highland cows, chickens, ducks & geese

“Very comfortable and cozy accommodations on a goat farm, with picture perfect views of rolling hills and hosted by the friendliest people you would ever want to meet.
For us it was worth traveling a bit off I 35, to stay on this working farm. We enjoyed the dinner we brought from Des Moines out on Jan & Dan’s back porch watching hummingbirds and the sun setting over their pond.

“Beautiful, calm, relaxing, cleanly and so many other positive ways to describe my stay at the Lodge. I was greeted with the sweetest of people and their two lovely fur babies. We arrived in the evening, walked into the kitchen, grabbed a water and went straight to bed. I was able to snuggle into a warm bed during the dead of winter and fall fast asleep. It felt like coming home.
I woke up to many breakfast options, some of which included: fresh farm eggs, fresh fruit and coffee. I spent some time with the friendly goats before continuing on my journey. It was an immaculate place to stay. The drive was a tad bit off the beaten path, but so worth it. I highly recommend this place. Thanks Dan & Jan!!”
