Meet Dan & Jan.
Welcome to The Lodge at Circle J & Blue Goat Kitchen, set in the rolling hills of northwest Missouri; just minutes from southern Iowa. Built in 2014 on a hill overlooking farm ponds, bottom ground and a beautiful timber section our dream of providing quality whitetail hunts in a family style setting was brought to fruition. Your host Dan & Jan Jennings have been hunting all their lives and enjoying sharing this passion with you.
Dan was born & raised right here in the heart of Missouri’s big whitetails country…hunted from a very young age and helped guide for many years prior to meeting his wife, Jan. He shared his passion for the outdoor with his children and many friends. Dan previously owned & operated Cedar Hill Outfitters, an upland game bird hunters dream. Jan was born & raised in Michigan. She was a tomboy, and you couldn’t keep her from tagging along with her brother…hunting, fishing & trapping. At one point she traveled to Idaho to look at a fly in only hunting ranch to purchase. Thankfully that did not happen as years later she met Dan. And together they have successfully built The Lodge at Circle J.
